Christmas Cards

After a short break again from card making I recieved my monthly magazine through the post crammed full of ideas for this years Christmas cards. After a little shopping around at Garners and hobby Craft gathering ideas and inspiration I finally found the ideas flowing freely and have started to make a dent into the huge amount of cards needed this year.

Anniversary Card

Along with making the birthday cards I found some extra inspiration to make an anniversary card even though there was no-one I knew with an anniversary coming up.

Birthday cards

After finally getting a reason to make cards again and for the inspiration to be back I got stuck straight in to making some birthday cards to keep in my stocks.

Toby's Naming Day

Well it has been a while since I have been here blogging and it has been a difficult few months in terms of card making as I have found it quite difficult to find inspiration. But then along came the perfect inspiration my friend's son's naming day.

Birthday Creations

Well it's been a busy night and I have created 3 new Birthday Cards.

Then I managed to find the time to create a special day card for a very small friend!!!!

Well I think that's enough for one night, will see what tomorrow brings. Night folks xx

Thank You Cards

Ok so while I am in full flow of trying to get to grips with this blooging stuff I will continue by adding the latest Thank You Cards I created for my husband, Ian to give out to some of his colleagues at work, for the end of another longer year. Hope you like them!!!!

Mums 60th Birthday

Here is my most recent card I made for my mums 60th Birthday.
It required an A4 piece of black card. Fold the black card in half to make the card shape and then the top half fold in half again to make the bridge effect. Then using some purple leather effect card cut a strip that would fit half of the bottom of the card, leaving a slight border. Use large glitter silver numbers and letters and stick to the purple card, to make the 60 today. Cut another piece of purple card to stick on the top half of the card, the size can vary depending on what you want to stick on it. I then covered the purple card with a yellow and purple piece of paper taken from the 12x12 Laura Ashley designer paper pad, leaving a purple border around the edge. Then with a square piece of the purple card stick to the left of the Laura Ashley paper and then attach the birthday bear, taken from the Fizzy Moon, Celebrations, 8x8 Decoupage Pad. Add Silver Stars and a Happy Birthday Sign to the right of this.
